Harlem Media Dome
The Harlem Public Library Expansion Project aims to enhance community engagement and cultural enrichment by adding three stories to the existing library. Dedicated spaces for music, dance, theatre, cinema, and acting classes will address the scarcity of such amenities in surrounding schools due to space constraints. This initiative creates a vibrant after-school environment for students to explore artistic talents. Through innovative design and partnerships, the expanded library will serve as a dynamic hub for creative expression, education, and community empowerment, fostering cultural exchange for generations to come.

The upward expansion breaks away from the typical floorplan of collaborative spaces by allowing audible and visual connection to each level. This is done to create a condition of cross pollination amongst the students- engaging them in various types of media and interests.
