TRANSPARENCY IN THE NEW METROPOLITIAN
We have begun to live in a society of exhibition, where everything is automatically subject to its own advertising-its worth is measured at face value by its exhibition value. Everything has been undressed, stripped, exposed, turned outward; presented on a platter to be served, prostituted. Capitalist economy turns everything into an easily devourable commodity; a commodity possessing no mystery, vail, or secrecy- a perpetual staging. Modernity operates from this framework. We aim to shed light on every moment of space as though every moment were an exhibition- we prostitute these moments for profitability, and thus eradicate the beauty of the “un-staged”. These once valued moments die through overexposure.
