PIER G - DELTA LANDING DROP

Ganges River Delta, West Bengal, India

Pier-G: A resilient deployable docking system for the Ganges River Delta, addressing environmental fluctuations through re-purposing automotive steel. Anticipating increased coastal commerce, Pier-G revitalizes impoverished wetland cities once reliant on global maritime trade, while consolidating its production with India's goal to re-purpose 30 million tones of steel per year over the next decade from automotive vehicles not currently meeting environmental standards.  This solution fosters economic growth amidst challenges, enabling swift deployment in crucial areas, averting setbacks in development and offering a solution to India's excess steel crisis.
